Mark Miller grew up on the East Coast, primarily Rochester, N.Y.; and also lived in Glens Falls, N.Y.; Atlanta, GA; Longmeadow, MA; San Francisco, CA; and Los Angeles, CA, where he now resides. He has travelled to Canada, Hawaii and Mexico. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English with Honors from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. Mark’s specialties include: marketing communications, copywriting, digital and print content creation, publicity, and journalism. He previously worked for KB Home, the Los Angeles Times, KCET Television, O’Melveny & Myers LLP, and The Huffington Post. Mark is a member of the Writers Guild of America, West, and the Independent Writers of Southern California. In a previous life, he worked as a stand-up comic and a writer for numerous sit-coms and variety shows. His interests include: comedy writing, cooking, exercise, healthy eating, storytelling, reading, and movies. He is the author of a humor book collection of 55 of his essays about his dating experiences called, 500 Dates: Dispatches From the Front Lines of the Online Dating Wars. Among the things Mark enjoys about working at BNO: “The people, the variety of work, the creativity, the appreciation, the openness to new ideas, and the proximity to tasty lunch places.”
